Our SIL supports can include:

  • Personal care, hygiene, and daily routines
  • Support with cooking, cleaning, and home maintenance

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

We partner with SDA providers to help participants with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs find suitable housing.

While we don’t provide SDA properties directly, our team can:

  • Help you navigate SDA eligibility and applications
  • Coordinate with registered SDA providers
  • Support your transition into SDA housing
  • Ensure your rights, privacy, and preferences are respected

When combined with our SIL services, you’ll receive comprehensive, respectful support in a home that suits your lifestyle and needs.

Accommodation and Tenancy Support is for participants who need help finding and maintaining suitable housing.

This may include:

  • Exploring rental or social housing options
  • Applying for housing or tenancy agreements
  • Developing tenancy skills like budgeting and communication
  • Resolving housing issues, disputes, or transitions
  • Preventing homelessness or housing breakdown

Our goal is to make housing more accessible, especially for those facing barriers due to location, disability, or social circumstances.

Frequently Asked Questions

Housing Support

  • What’s the difference between SIL and SDA?

SIL is the daily support you receive in your home. SDA refers to specially designed housing built for individuals with high support needs. You can receive SIL services in a regular house or SDA accommodation if you’re eligible.

  • Do I need to live in a group home to receive SIL?

No. SIL can be provided in shared housing or your own home, depending on your needs and NDIS plan.

  • Can you help me find a place to live?

Yes. Our Accommodation & Tenancy support helps you explore rental and community housing options and apply for tenancy.

  • Do I have to pay rent if I live in a SIL house?

Yes. While your NDIS funding covers your support needs, everyday living costs like rent, utilities, and food are usually your responsibility.

  • I live in a remote area. Can you still help me?

Absolutely. We specialise in delivering services to remote and underrepresented communities across the NT and Victoria.
